ALLEMAGNE :: Germany - Diaspora: Essen ready for the Summer Festival on, July 16th.

H.E Mr Jean-Marc Mpay,ambassador of Cameroon in Germany and the Mayor of the city of Essen,in Germany, will together preside over the Summer Festival on saturday  16, juli 2016. Among Sports and cultural activities, children will be given the opportunity to really enjoy themselves after nine months of hardwork during schooltime.

Our reporter meets the promotor, Mr Kenneth Nasoe Najeme, a sympathic and very well-known businessman in the Ruhr region, who kindly accepts to tell us more about this Event which the whole city of Essen is talking about as the date approaches.

What makes the difference of the Summer Feast organized by Afrika Kultur & Wohlfahrt e.V?

Afrika Kultur und Wohlfahrt e.V tries to include every age group and gender in it's activities.We give children the opportunity to enjoy themselves during our programs. The parents also have the opportunity of watching their children perform in public.
 
How does the program look like?

This summer festival will have two parts. While Sports and cultural activities will take place in the Haedenkampstr 72, the business Forum will hold in MBOA Festsaal, Altendorfer str 237-245, 45143.There will be live Music,Dance workshop, drumming and other games and attractions.

What is the place of Children in a program like the one you are offering on Saturday 16.07.2017 in Essen?

Children will have a special attention. Most of the cultural program involve children. They will present live.

Talking about Business forum "Fighting poverty through entrepreneurship" is the main topic to be discussed. Why this topic and who are the panelists?

This topic was chosen because we would like to encourage Cameroonians to be self reliant and seek means of developing our economy. There will be seasoned panelist to give us the best needed to encourage entrepreneuship.
 
How do you appreciate the presence of H.E Mr. Jean-Marc Mpay, Cameroonian ambassador in Germany and the mayor of the City of Essen who kindly accepted to preside over the ceremony?

I am very thankful to the Ambassador. He is the father of Camerronians and he always shows concern by going closer to Camerronians. He appreciates and encourages all good actions of Cameroonians.


Since many years Mr Kenneth Nasoe Najeme is known as one of the successful business men in this region through his Travel agency and since 2015, through Mboa Festsaal where someone can enjoy Live music every Friday evening with Energy 237 Orchestra.Now you are embracing the Humanitarian and Social branches. How did you come across this idea?

I discovered that when you gain success you have a social responsibility towards the community. It is this belief that led me to get engaged in social and humanitarian services.

Afrika Kultur & Wohlfahrt e.V is a non Governmental organisation based in Essen. It was foundeded in 2006 and aims at helping Africans in integration and welfare. It also promotes international development efforts.

All one needs to do to be part of the festival is to attend and have fun. The business forum will be very educative.
