AFRIQUE :: UP!UP! : Uplifting Lives in a Unified Purpose :: AFRICA

UP! UP! is a world movement that seeks to save lives and uplift our African community. The purpose of our current galvanizing efforts is to launch an effective international campaign that helps to foster progressive collaborative relationships with concerned global citizens, as well as with many of the most powerfully recognized men, women advocate and organizations across continents!

The impact of violence by Jihadist groups such Boko Haram, combined with the low rate of education, illiteracy, extreme poverty and hunger, rampant youth unemployment, all act as potential portals for the active recruitment and radicalization of disadvantaged people. We must find the way to redirect this horrific crisis as soon as possible with uplifting solutions and contributions of hope and dignity!

Africa is in the thralls of a growing specter of gender-based violent extremism. In fact, these places have been a fertile terrain for radicalism, recruitment and violence perpetrated on young women and girls. The role of women in violent extremism has grown in tandem with the spiraling threat of terrorism globally.

UP!UP! therefore promotes. Celebrates and salutes Africa as the mother of civilization.
