AFRIQUE :: About acts of racism and the killings of Black Africans in China and India
Uproars from Black African communities living here and there in China and India have been rocking our ears and wits, and we cannot remain unmoved. In Africa, some collective, organized, actions must be taken to stop those Racist from beating and killing our brothers and sisters again and again.
Collectively or individually, African people living abroad must inundate Chinese and Indian embassies with letters and writings denouncing those acts of barbarities which have resulted in the severe beatings and killings of many Black people. They must let these embassies see that the persistence of this situation may lead to unwanted consequences for their citizens living in Africa.
Well-organized groups in different countries on the continent should march to Chinese and Indian embassies and hold sit-in demanding them to educate their people to respect Blacks living in China and India as Africans do welcome and respect their citizens in Africa.
At the moment China and India are building strong economic ties with African countries, such scenes of witlessness and barbarism toward Black people will solely play against the interests of their countries which, for sure, desperately need African resources and sustained trade with the continent to strengthen their growing economy.
Together as one people we, Africans, must urgently do something about this; we must reverse the course of things over there. We must be firm, consistent and constant on this matter. And if they don’t listen to us and the situation continues, then on the continent we must take further, strong measures that will help them get back to the right track. True respect and dignity are children of struggle.
