CAMEROUN :: Cameroon: FFCI PRESS RELEASE TO WHOLE ANGLOPHONE COMMUNITY.

On the eve of a long awaited dialogue, FFCI (Frontline Fighters for Citizen’s Interest), wishes to write boldly and openly on the wall that “violence does not solve problems”, it only aggravates them.

Let’s all bear witness to the fact that the problems that we are solving today are in no way related to the initial problems laid down by the common law lawyers and Anglophone teachers.

Ambazoniarism, federalism are opportunistic doctrines which have shed so much blood, taken away so many lives, Give birth to prisoners of circumstance, destroyed much of our hard earned infrastructure, muted our economy and assassinated many innocent Cameroonians.

The question is what actually are we going to dialogue? The FFCI, strongly condemns violent approaches and plan of kidnapping pupils and students on their way to school which she have perceived through her informants and advices that we should rather concentrate all our energies now in planning how to put forth our problems on the dialogue table with a courageous and competent leadership here at home rather than those abroad.Vandalism and violence may only give birth to new problems which would derail the solution seekers, help the government to camouflage and give the army a passport to manslaughter.

It should be noted that the FFCI has been actively involved in the ongoing crisis from the Genesis till date, she has invested so many of its resources both human and financial in its successful efforts to release the first detained victims of violence in Yaounde on December 24th 2016 and they were presented to the Governor of Northwest Region in Bamenda.

FFCI has multiply series of sensitization campaigns, and negotiation meetings to mention a few.

It would therefore be a great failure to FFCI, if the said dialogue doesn’t come up with a long lasting solution to the crisis and all the casualties link to it.

The FFCI therefore urges the entire Anglophone community to exhibit more diplomacy in their requests and actions because insolence and violence has complicated our efforts to release some victims arrested since November 2016, Violent requests give the impression that these detainees will further envenom the society if they are release like the previous.

Violence, vandalism and insolence are unlawful acts and have formed a coon in which the Cameroon government has taken refuge to retaliate.

We also urge civilians to call us on the number: 661-748-775, in case of unjust arrest or disappearance of close and love ones early enough to avoid complications.
