I hear this photo attached is causing controversies in your French-speaking blog because you find a Cameroonian standing on a Cameroon national flag while holding up a different one. Well, in as much as I stand for the respect of ALL state symbols and emblems, as I have always advocated for, permit me to disagree with you for some reasons:

1. I see so much hypocrisy in most of your actions as you clearly prioritize a piece of cloth over a piece of flesh. So many killings, arbitrary arrests, raping of women and girls, human rights abuses, maimings, have taken place in West Cameroon for the last three months. How many of you openly sided with us? How many did write "Je suis Bamenda, Je suis Buea?" Instead, you did that for Paris, Kolofata, Eseka, etc. Didn't we, English-speaking citizens, sympathize with Eseka too? Don't you have business and families or interests in our regions? Why is your love selective?

2. The fight is not against you, our brothers and sisters. The fight is against the dubious political system of government called "unitary" state. How united are we when you value pieces of cloth over a life? Really? Merde!!! It is sad that the Federalism I stand for is not even valued by you. Don't you know that Federalism benefits you, me, and us? Do you think beyond your sentiments? The majority, however, stand for secession. They have the right to their preference after the poor treatment in the "unitary state" for more than half a century. Do you disagree too?

3. The attached photo was taken abroad, in a democratized country where flags are burned. It was not in Cameroon. Can Cameroon be as beautiful as what you see in this photo? Those countries value lives and not flags. Grow up. Be united. Sympathize with your brothers. Think beyond your little salaries and "riches." You are being manipulated by the regime to see us as the enemies. Les enemies sont dans la maison. Regardez bien SVP.
