their brothers we have a common goal, but we don't share thesame ideas, for i believe that the most an important fight here is to drive biya away not to divise the country, because that land belongs to all of us, i would love to remind you guys that up to today america is still bying lands to make their country more greater , union makes force. cameroon will never be divided but we will all and together fight for a better living of all cameroonian,even in nigeria the delta fighters has never aks for seperation but for a good share of the income of the oil.the problem in cameroon is the land but the people who rule the country and one day they will leave.

if you think the only solution to problems of under-development, mis-management, cooruption, poor governance, nepotism,etc is separation, it's your choice. but i request you to think again.
kumba-mamfe road is hell just like kumba-bangem (especially in the rainy season. but have you ever travelled from foumban to ngaoundere by road in the rainy season? are you aware that at least 92 cameroonians in the north (francophone) have died these past two weeks from cholera (a disease of poverty and underdevelopment)? are you aware that 52,000 children die of malnutrition every year in cameroon mainly in the east,adamawa, north and far north provinces?
cameroon is a mess. be it in former southern/west cameroon or east cameroon. if you think devolved administration (decentralisation, federalism, etc) is better, then make the case. extremism does not buy support. when it does, it is only from those who are already drunk of it.
courageous move to take your case to your opponents territory. unfortunately, your attempt at touching the nationalistic sentiments of your audience by quoting an african nationalist (patrice lumumba) from a mainly francophone background seems to have backfired. probably because your argument was weak and certainly because normal french-speaking cameroonians abhor seccession (especially coming from anglos).
go and market your ideas where you would have buyers. four-fifths of those who come here don't even know what that banjul case you are reveling in is all about. maybe you should start there.

i do not care the language secessionists use to pass their message. bilingualism is not the case. we are all aware tht the writer of this article failed to narrate the verdict of the banjul case and only he alone may understand it for the moment.
there will never come a time when all cameroonians will buy the notion of a united cameroon as "gold offered in a perfect market". there is no doubt that most cameroonians both english and french speaking desire unity. but it will be utmost nonsense to think that those who cherish the zero option have got no right to live or laugh.
allow even the dull and downtrodden to tell their own story. learn to listen to what does not please you. learn to interact even with those you consider as enemies. the element of division is present in all fabrics of human life: family, village, town, subdivision, division and region and you name the rest.
the more they talk, the more we know them. do not play the ostrich and fall into the same trap as in 1997. we all neglected them, we all gave them a deaf ear and were caught in a dangerous web and several cameroonians lost their lives. the so-called scnc terrorist attacks in 1997 inflicted heavy loses to our forces of law and order. this is why i personally cherish their coming out in an open forum to speak.
