New government shake up with Atanga Nji Paul as Minister of interior who was the rout course of the Anglophone insurrection of December 8/12/2016 he organized street demonstration in Bamenda and in favour of the ruling CPDM, as Teachers and Lawyers were on strike in the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon, 8 civilians were kill by security forces in public, 72 wounded and 300 arrested and transferred to Yaounde, were they are currently awaiting trail by the military Tribunal.

Though Paul Atanga Nji is a native of SANTA in Bamenda, over national radio and television, he openly declared there is no problem in the Northwest and Southwest but surprisingly was promoted by the regime as minister from simple aid at the presidency of the republic of Cameroon.

It is worth nothing that this appointment will futher aggravate the situation on the field with an immense risk of hosting no election within the two regions and encounter more violence, the situation will surly irrupt.
