ALLEMAGNE :: Germany - The Nkamanyi Football Initiative: A tournament to support the kids of Kumba in cameroon

Under the theme "Weg von der Straße - Fußball bietet Zukunftsperspektiven"(leave the street, football provides perspectives for the future", The Nkamanyi Football Initiative organizes on Saturday 28th March 2015 in Duisburg, Germany, its first under 11 kids tournament and friendship game to support the kids of Kumba,Cameroon, in playing football. Involved are top teams in the area, amongst others MSV Duisburg and the JFA Football School in Düsseldorf.

Come and have fun

Because through football, youths learn a great number of skills which help them in their later life, The Nkamanyi Football Initiative, in collaboration with Junge Teufel e.V., African Impulse e.V and Tura 88 e.V promote youth of Kumba in south-west region of Cameroon through football by organizing their first kids tournament and friendship on Saturday 28th March 2015 at H.W Gerlach Stadium(Tura 88) in Duisburg. The highlight of the day shall be the game between Cameroonian kids under the age of 15 against the D1 Team of Tura 88 Duisburg.


The multicultural atmosphere shall be spiced with Cameroonian and European music, barbecue and animations by the Able Ladies kids Ballet group.

The Nkamanyi Football Initiative is a football training center in its early stages. It was created in 2013 in Kumba by the Nkamanyi family in order to provide better opportunities for kids in their home town to play football and to do so with the appropriate attire and equipment.
